Medical and Biological Applications

The scope of this topic includes the application of terahertz / microwave / RF technology for novel technologies and innovations related to medical assessment and treatment, as well as detection and utilization of any biological effects.

Food Processing and Process intensification

This topic includes applications of microwaves and RF-technologies related to food and groceries, including heating and drying, but also resisting germs and insects.
