The course will focus of measurement uncertainty as a general concept, starting with statistics and mathematics. The practical applications will be in experiments using microwave measurements, such as high frequency analysis, time resolved data acquisition and measurements of S-parameters using Network Analyzers. There will be tutorials, supervised exercises and individual work. The course will be suitable for PhD students and post-graduated MSc in EE, APh and Physics. Students will be offered to hand in a report justifying study-credits (contingent approval of your examiner).
